VASCULATURE
A network of blood vessels connecting the heart with all other organs and tissues in the body. Arteries and arterioles bring oxygen-rich blood and nutrients from the heart to the organs and tissues, while venules and veins carry deoxygenated blood back to the heart
CANCER
A disease characterised by abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Cancer can affect bones, skin, tissue, organs and glands. Cancerous, or malignant, tumors can be life-threatening and require cancer treatment.
METABOLISM
Describe all the chemical reactions in the body's cells
